The idea for the secret shop business came to me after reading an article in a magazine about mystery shopping.  I thought it would be fun to have a business that improves customer service at stores while mystery shoppers get paid to shop!  My first client was a small bookstore chain.  Since I did not have any mystery shoppers yet, I conducted the mystery shops myself.  My first store location was out in Abbotsford, BC so I drove from Vancouver through traffic for 1.5 hours to arrive at 5:30pm only to find out that the store had just closed!  Such is the life of a mystery shopper.

Paul Sullivan, the founder and president, had obtained his BSc at Carleton University in Ottawa and MBA from University of Western Ontario in London before creating Campus Mystery Shopping.
